Arctic Circle Assembly 2018

The Arctic Circle is the largest network of international dialogue and cooperation on the future of the Arctic. It is an open democratic platform with participation from governments, organizations, corporations, universities, think tanks, environmental associations, indigenous communities, concerned citizens, and others interested in the development of the Arctic and its consequences for the future of the globe. It is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization (www.arcticcircle.org). The Arctic Circle Assembly 2018 will take place in Reykjavík, Iceland on October 19-21, 2018.

The German Arctic Office is supporting the European Commission, the Ministry for Education and Culture of the Republic of Finland and the Ministry for Education and Research of the Federal Republic of Germany with arranging the Breakout Session: “The Second Arctic Science Ministerial – challenges, commitments and co-operation”.
